We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician for our plant in Rancho Cordova, CA. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment by conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, fabrication capabilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with manufacturing machinery.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed to restore equipment to proper working condition.
- Utilize various tools and equipment, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, voltmeters, and power tools, to perform maintenance and repairs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on machinery and equipment.
- Collaborate with production personnel to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize disruptions to production schedules.
- Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on new technologies and maintenance techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Preferred Skills/Qualifications
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions, including kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods.
