Handyman / Property Maintenance Technician Dutch Contracting LLC Rio Linda, CA Job Details Full-time From $20 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Equipment repair Outdoor work Driver's License Power tools Hand tools Full Job Description Position Summary Dutch Contracting is seeking a dependable, hardworking Handyman / Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining our office, shop, and company property while assisting with the upkeep of our fleet and equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and takes pride in keeping facilities and equipment in excellent condition. Responsibilities Perform general property maintenance, including weed eating, mowing, trimming, and maintaining a clean, professional appearance of company grounds. Complete general office maintenance and repairs as needed (painting, minor plumbing, lighting, fixtures, drywall repairs, etc.). Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on company trucks, trailers, and equipment. Coordinate and transport company vehicles for required smog inspections, registrations, and maintenance appointments. Run company errands, including picking up parts, supplies, and equipment. Assist with organizing and maintaining the shop, yard, and storage areas. Identify maintenance issues and communicate repair needs to management. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Represent Dutch Contracting professionally when interacting with vendors, customers, and the public. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and experience working on vehicles and equipment preferred. Experience with general maintenance, repairs, and landscaping. Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment. Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
