Job Description

We are hiring a Maintenance Technician Mechanic for a manufacturing operation producing cables and interconnect components. This morning shift role supports hydraulic equipment, presses, extrusion lines, and spoolers used in daily production. As a technician, you will maintain mechanical and electrical equipment, respond to production issues, and complete work orders on schedule to limit downtime. You will work closely with production, facilities, and EHS to keep equipment running safely and consistently.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment per schedule Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures on presses, extrusion lines, and spoolers Repair or retrofit equipment to restore production output Respond to production requests to reduce unplanned downtime Complete work orders in a computerized maintenance management system Use electrical schematics to diagnose equipment issues Apply lockout/tagout procedures during maintenance and repair Support equipment restarts after maintenance activities Participate in root cause analysis following equipment failures Follow OSHA standards and site safety procedures
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience maintaining equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment Mechanical aptitude with hydraulic, pneumatic, motor, pump, and roller systems Ability to read electrical and electronic schematics and hands-on experience using tools and electrical test equipment Knowledge of basic electrical troubleshooting Understanding of electrical and electronic safety codes Attention to detail when documenting maintenance work Ability to work as part of a maintenance and production team We offer: Temp to perm opportunity with stability and room to grow $28.50 to $32.50 per hour 401(k), Health insurance, PTO, and more
