Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, candidate will perform skilled installation, maintenance, and repair to District buildings, facilities and equipment. Candidate will perform duties in a wide variety of the building maintenance trades including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, glazing, audio-visual, locksmithing, heating and air conditioning, and painting, and will prepare and maintain records related to work performed. Candidate will work indoor and outdoor, be subject to noise from equipment operation, and experience regular exposure to fumes, dust, dirt, and oil/grease. Physical abilities must consist of dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a variety of specialized equipment and tools, climbing ladders and working from heights, reaching overhead and horizontally, standing for extended periods of times, lifting heavy objects weighing up to 75 pounds, bending at the waist, and kneeling or crouching.Qualifications:
Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school and three years of experience in one or more of the building or maintenance trades including one year skilled-level experience. Experience with HVAC systems is preferred. Possession of a valid California Driver's License to drive district vehicles to transport equipment and supplies is required.Requirements / Qualifications
