Job Description

ReadyWorkInc is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to upkeep the maintenance operations for an industrial company in Santa Maria! The ideal candidate will have expertise in high and low voltage systems, mechanical knowledge, and project management skills. The schedule will Monday
  • Friday you must be available to work overtime and weekends.
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience industrial maintenance in a production plant environment.
Duties:
Assist the maintenance mechanic with preventive maintenance on production equipment. Inspect machines for wear, leaks, loose parts, unusual noises, or damage . Help repair and replace belts, bearings, chains, rollers, hoses, guards, and other mechanical parts . Assist with maintaining conveyors and material-handling equipment . Lubricate bearings, chains, gears, and other equipment according to the maintenance schedule. Help troubleshoot machines when production equipment stops or operates incorrectly. Use hand tools such as wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, hammers, drills, and grease guns . Keep the maintenance shop, tools, and work areas clean and organized. Assist with welding, cutting, fabrication, plumbing, or electrical work when trained and authorized. Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures before working on energized or moving equipment. Complete maintenance work orders and report problems to the mechanic or maintenance supervisor. Help prepare machines for production startup and shutdown. Follow company safety, PPE, housekeeping, and environmental procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bilingual a Plus
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited program
  • Preventative maintenance scheduling and performing
  • Experience of industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment
  • Able to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics
  • Must keep detailed notes/ revisions of projects
  • Proven experience in facilities management and industrial maintenance
  • Proficiency in electrical systems, including high and low voltage
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques
