Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Property Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Santa Paula, CA. This role supports an affordable housing community and is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in keeping residential properties safe, functional, clean, and welcoming. The Property Maintenance Technician will perform preventative maintenance, apartment repairs, building system checks, and common area upkeep while working closely with onsite property management. - Perform general apartment maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and related building maintenance tasks.
- Complete timely repairs and turnover work in vacant apartments to prepare units for occupancy.
- Maintain exterior areas, common areas, community rooms, offices, storage rooms, electrical rooms, landscaping areas, and parking lots to support strong curb appeal.
- Conduct daily inspections of interior and exterior common areas to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and repair priorities.
- Respond to emergency after-hours maintenance requests and help address security-related issues, including lighting concerns.
- Coordinate with the Resident Manager and assist with oversight of contracted vendors for landscaping and other property services as needed. Compensation and Benefits
- $22.00 to $23.00 per hour.
