Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Fence Installer / Gate and Fence Welder Fabricator to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of fencing projects, from residential to commercial installations, while showcasing your expertise in welding, fabrication, and construction. You'll be responsible for installing durable fences and gates, fabricating custom metal components, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. Duties Install fences, gates, and related structures using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to ensure secure and precise assembly. Fabricate custom fence panels, gate frames, and metal components by cutting, welding, and finishing materials to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or project plans to accurately execute installations. Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up temporary supports, and ensuring safe working conditions. Perform heavy lifting of materials such as metal panels, posts, concrete blocks, or other fencing components to facilitate installation. Conduct quality inspections during and after installation to ensure durability, safety, and aesthetic standards are met. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in construction-related roles with a focus on fencing, carpentry, or masonry work. Skilled in welding techniques including MIG, TIG or arc welding with the ability to fabricate metal structures confidently. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, concrete forming, landscape maintenance, hardscape installation, and masonry is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on construction sites or fabrication areas. Strong understanding of frame carpentry principles and construction site safety practices. Experience working with concrete finishing or landscape projects is a plus but not required. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to read technical drawings accurately.
