Job Description The Facilities Team is the operational backbone that ensures our buildings and infrastructure run safely, efficiently, and reliably so our innovators can stay focused on creating the future. Success on this team requires strong collaboration, effective communication, the ability to prioritize, and adaptability in a fast-paced evolving setting. Qualifications Degree, license, or certification in a professional mechanical trade plus 3 years of experience in that trade, or 10 years of experience in trade plus clear examples of advanced technical ability and continually increasing responsibility High school diploma or equivalency certificate Valid driver's license Ability to work all shifts and available for overtime, weekends and holidays as needed Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position Ability to work at elevated heights, including the use of a ladder Ability to lift 50lbs Responsibilities Perform routine building maintenance tasks to systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and/or carpentry Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) or maintenance plans in order to perform preventative maintenance Conduct site-wide maintenance to our facilities, including painting, patching walls, replacing ceiling/flooring tiles, and carpet Coordinate complex projects or maintenance across a variety of disciplines Manage other site-wide operations and maintenance programs as assigned by facilities management Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts as needed Open, track, and resolve work orders on a CMMS and lead basic preventative maintenance tasks Coordinate maintenance with contractors and building occupants to ensure minimal downtime Strong understanding and adherence to electrical and mechanical safety Preferred Skills and Experience In-depth knowledge of electrical systems Ability to perform intermediate levels of preventative maintenance on critical equipment Ability to perform intermediate levels of troubleshooting of building equipment Ability to perform intermediate levels of corrective maintenance for equipment In depth understanding of tools and their uses; ability to identify the best tool for the job Ability to read and understand technical documentation Good written and verbal communication skills Willingness to learn and apply new skills Self-motivated, works well with others and autonomously Willingness to lead and mentor junior technicians
Expected Compensation:
The anticipated base salary for this position is expected to be within the following range. Your actual base pay will be determined by your job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We also believe in aligning our employees' success with the company's long-term growth. As such, in addition to base salary, Neuralink offers equity compensation (in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSU)) for all full-time employees.
Base Salary Range:
$26.92 - $37.60
