Full-Time Position Summary Bender CCP seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Mechanic to support the maintenance, repair, and operation of facility equipment, building systems, and production support infrastructure. This position requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, along with experience maintaining HVAC systems, pumps, motors, compressors, plumbing, electrical distribution systems, and general facility equipment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on maintenance professional with experience performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance in manufacturing, industrial, food processing, distribution, or commercial facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring facility reliability, safety, and operational efficiency while responding to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and building systems. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. Maintain and repair motors, pumps, compressors, conveyors, fans, gearboxes, and related equipment. Troubleshoot electrical systems, including motors, control panels, relays, switches, VFDs, lighting, and building electrical systems. Support HVAC equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting. Perform plumbing repairs, including valves, piping, fixtures, and utility systems. Install, maintain, and repair facility infrastructure, equipment, and machinery. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals. Complete work orders and document maintenance activities in CMMS systems. Support facility improvement projects, equipment installations, and capital upgrades. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers as needed. Follow all company safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, arc flash, and PPE requirements. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Respond to emergency maintenance calls and equipment failures as needed. Electrical/Instrumentation Technicians Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot control systems. Work near live circuits and energized equipment. Perform maintenance on rotating and pressurized equipment. Use power tools, lifting devices, and lockout/tagout procedures. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED required. Technical, vocational, or trade school training in industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or related fields preferred. Experience Minimum 3-5 years of maintenance experience in industrial, manufacturing, food processing, warehouse, distribution, or commercial facilities. Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems. Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, compressed air, and facility utility systems preferred. Experience using CMMS software and maintenance management systems preferred. Preferred Certifications OSHA 10 or
OSHA 30 HVAC
Certification Electrical Safety / NFPA 70E Forklift Certification Confined Space Training Industrial Maintenance Certification Skills & Competencies Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities. Knowledge of facility systems, utilities, and building maintenance practices. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to safety and continuous improvement. Work Environment Manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or commercial facility environment. Exposure to noise, dust, machinery, temperature fluctuations, and industrial equipment.
