Job Description
Commercial & Industrial Door Technician Trainee InSev Tech is seeking a dependable and motivated Technician Trainee to join our growing Commercial & Industrial Door Division. This is an entry level position designed for individuals who are mechanically inclined, eager to learn a skilled trade, and interested in building a long term career. No commercial door experience is required. We are looking for the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn. We will provide hands on training in commercial overhead doors, loading dock equipment, high speed doors, gate operators, and automation systems. Responsibilities Assist senior technicians with service, repair, installation, and maintenance work Learn commercial overhead doors, dock levelers, dock restraints, high speed doors, and gate systems Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and jobsite equipment Load and unload materials, organize tools, and maintain service vehicles Complete jobsite documentation and communicate professionally with customers Follow all company safety procedures and policies Maintain a clean and professional appearance on customer sites Requirements Strong work ethic and positive attitude Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in industrial environments Comfortable working indoors and outdoors Ability to climb ladders and work at heights Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn Mechanical aptitude preferred but not required Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) Construction experience Welding experience Electrical or low voltage experience Forklift or scissor lift experience Commercial service experience What We Offer Paid training Company vehicle opportunities for advancement Overtime opportunities Long term career growth Supportive team environment Stable year round work Opportunity to advance into a Lead Technician position About InSev Tech InSev Tech is a commercial and industrial door, dock, gate, and automation company serving Southern California.
