$72,000 to $80,000 per year (Salary) plus Performance Based Bonus and Fixed Bonus.
Valid California driver's license. The Opportunity You will serve as the essential hands-on technical lead, preserving the value and operational safety of our premier commercial property portfolio. This role empowers you to act as the direct eyes and ears of ownership, managing property upkeep and driving vendor accountability. You will escape corporate bureaucracy, working dynamically across properties to resolve real-time technical field challenges. How You Will Make an Impact Execute comprehensive general repairs including basic commercial plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, lighting, and building hardware. Conduct rigorous daily property inspections to guarantee the utmost cleanliness, aesthetic presentation, and safety compliance. Coordinate third-party vendors and specialty contractors on-site to verify work matches approved project scopes and schedules. Facilitate property tours and vendor bids by securely prepping, opening, and locking commercial units. Evaluate contractor performance and report structural deficiencies or operational concerns directly to management. Resolve urgent tenant maintenance requests swiftly to uphold premium landlord-tenant relationships. Manage vacant property turnovers and proactive preventative maintenance cycles to maximize asset readiness. Required Qualifications & Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent. Valid California driver's license, a reliable personal vehicle, and a clean driving record. Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform demanding, continuous on-site maintenance tasks. Strong independent problem-solving skills with a verified history of punctuality and self-starting field operations. Preferred Qualifications & Experience 5 or more years of dedicated commercial building maintenance and preventative systems experience. Broad, advanced knowledge of complex commercial building systems and specialized trades. Proven background overseeing third-party service providers, reviewing construction scopes, and assessing contractor bids.
