Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and skilled Commercial Property Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance and operations of commercial properties in Avon, Colorado. This position is responsible for maintaining the appearance, functionality, and safety of our retail, office, and mixed-use properties while providing exceptional service to tenants and visitors. The ideal candidate is hands-on, self-motivated, and experienced in general building maintenance, repairs, and property operations. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections of commercial properties and building systems. Complete general maintenance and repair work, including drywall repair, painting, basic plumbing, minor electrical work, carpentry, and general handyman tasks. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. Coordinate and oversee third-party vendors and contractors as needed. Maintain common areas, parking lots, sidewalks, landscaping elements, and overall property appearance. Assist with seasonal maintenance activities, including snow and weather-related property needs. Conduct preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment. Document completed work and communicate maintenance updates to management. Ensure compliance with company safety standards and operating procedures. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of maintenance, facilities, construction, or related experience preferred. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance. Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and implement practical solutions. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Preferred Qualifications Commercial property maintenance experience. Experience working directly with tenants and providing customer service. Ability to read and interpret basic building plans, drawings, and maintenance manuals. Ability to identify maintenance issues proactively and recommend solutions. Experience using work order systems and managing multiple priorities independently. Pay:
$28.00 - $33.00 per hour
