THIS IS A CONTRACT
(Form 1099)
POSITION
As a contractor, you must provide proof of liability Insurance. The position rotates between hotels in a given market for one week at a time to fix maintenance issues.
Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Tech (MT) is to perform the work needed to maintain/repair equipment as well as maintain hotel fixtures. Duties may involve carpentry; plumbing, repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, and repairing kitchen appliances, and PTACs, and repairing interior and exterior walls, siding, roof, landscape, concrete, and interior carpet, floors, or stairs. Depending on business needs, MT may be asked to prep rooms and assist with cleaning duties as well. Ideally, this person is personally committed to ensuring all known issues are repaired at the end of each shift of work.
