Full-Time HOURS 1:30PM to 10:00PM We are looking for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team at Driver Industrial Safety. In this key role, The Maintenance Technician maximizes equipment uptime through timely, in-depth troubleshooting and repairing all equipment failures. The Maintenance Technician performs preventative maintenance and repairs on all warehouse equipment, such as Chillers, presses, material dispensing equipment, air compressors, and hydraulic units. The Maintenance Technician works directly with machine operators, supervisors, and management. The Maintenance Technician reports to the Senior Maintenance Technician.AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
Ensure all warehouse equipment is operating efficiently and effectively. Perform preventative maintenance procedures on all equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, VFDs, motors, PLC, and HMI devices. Troubleshoot all equipment to determine root causes and repair as required. Troubleshooting PLC issues to determine corrective action Work with operators, supervisors, and management to ensure the smooth operation of equipment Create SOPs for all maintenance procedures and processes. Keep maintenance records for all preventative and repairs for all equipment. Create and maintain replacement part inventory. Perform other duties as assigned. Maintenance TechnicianREQUIREMENTS
- Hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, PLC knowledge Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Able to work independently. Ability to sit, stand, and walk around for long periods of time
- 2-5 years of experience
- Bilingual a plus
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY
- Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
- Good communication skills
- Good writing skills
