Job Summary:
Our hot tub technicians are responsible for effectively and efficiently completing service calls, repairs, hot tub maintenance, and a few spa relocations / deliveries across the Denver metro area, providing excellent customer service. We are seeking a full-time hot tub technician who is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, good talking with customers, good at sales, and self-sufficient. One year of experience is preferred. The salary is based on experience and/or skill set. You will also receive commission on what you sell. Required Skills/Abilities:
Must be mechanically inclined Must be physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs continuously. Plumbing experience is a bonus, but not mandatory. Electrical experience is a bonus, but not mandatory Good understanding of water chemistry and associated chemicals is a bonus, but not mandatory. 1 year of mechanical or technician experience Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality Independent problem solver, self-motivated, disciplined, self-starter. Be able to notice issues and be able to think outside the box Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Excellent customer service skills. Sales experience - Face to Face Be able to talk with customers, answer questions, go over issues, etc Valid Driver's License with clean M.V.R. Professional appearance, good communication skills, customer focus. Willing to work outside in the elements year-round. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Must understand and comply with all company directives and policies, including safe driving, and workplace habits. Must be comfortable using technology and software.
Responsibilities :
Service hot tubs at customer's homes using provided cleaning equipment, supplies, and tools. Perform routine maintenance checks on hot tubs - Properly diagnose problems / issues on hot tubs Communicate with customers to discuss your diagnosis as well as any issues or concerns they may have.
Properly repair / replace:
pumps, heaters, control boxes, sensors, breakers, ozones, blowers, plumbing, electrical, etc. Drain, clean, and refill hot tubs Sales of services, goods, and products at customers homes Occasional delivery and installation of replacement hot tub covers and accessories. Occasional delivery and/or relocation of a hot tub. Reporting any damage or issues to management. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment and work van. Maintain a detailed record of inventory and supplies. Ensure that all work is performed safely and effectively. Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction. Working with basic hand tools and light power tools to perform repairs on hot tubs. Ability to perform other assigned duties.
