Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless functioning of all facilities and equipment within the hotel environment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building maintenance skills in a fast-paced hospitality setting. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional service through effective maintenance practices. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and other handyman tasks to maintain the hotel's aesthetic and structural integrity. Use hand tools, electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions. Maintain facilities equipment including elevators, lighting systems, HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and other building systems with precision. Supervise or assist with maintenance painting projects to uphold the hotel's appearance standards. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule upcoming tasks. Lead or support team members in maintenance operations while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Respond promptly to guest or staff maintenance requests ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained at all times. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality or residential environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical work, plumbing repairs, HVAC system troubleshooting and repair. Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, CMMS software, and maintenance best practices. Experience with welding, carpentry (including residential painting), plumbing system maintenance & repair is highly desirable. Supervisory or leadership experience in a maintenance setting is a plus. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics fluently in English for effective troubleshooting. Demonstrated ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently; experience with electrical equipment repair is essential. Knowledge of manufacturing or industrial maintenance practices can be advantageous but is not mandatory. Join us as a Maintenance Technician/Hotel professional committed to excellence! $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
