Maintenance TechnicianHoliday Inn Express

We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and wants to be part of a team that supports each other. If you're someone who notices the details, takes initiative, and enjoys fixing things before they become problems, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Lead with a Hospitality Heart Help maintain a safe, comfortable environment for guests and team members by ensuring the property is always operating at its best. Go Above & Beyond Respond promptly to maintenance requests and proactively address issues before they impact the guest experience. Stronger Together Work closely with housekeeping, front desk, and management to keep the hotel running smoothly. Grit & Grace Tackle daily challenges with professionalism, resourcefulness, and a positive attitude.
Daily responsibilities include:
Performing routine inspections of guest rooms and public areas Responding to maintenance requests from guests and staff Completing basic repairs involving plumbing, electrical fixtures, HVAC units, and appliances Performing preventative maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently Maintaining the appearance of the property through painting, minor repairs, and upkeep Supporting safety inspections and ensuring hotel standards are maintained Assisting with seasonal maintenance such as snow removal or exterior upkeep Maintaining tools, supplies, and organized workspaces What We're Looking For We value reliability, initiative, and attitude just as much as experience.
Ideal candidates will have:
Basic knowledge of building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC systems Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail The ability to work independently and prioritize tasks A proactive approach to property care and preventative maintenance Strong communication and teamwork skills The ability to lift, climb ladders, and perform physical work Previous experience in hotel maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction, or skilled trades is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn.
