- Full-time High Country Aqua Tech (HCAT) is Summit County's full-service water experience company—commercial pool/spa service, residential hot tub service, and whole-home water treatment.
We're hiring a Senior Pool & Spa Technician who can run complex service calls end-to-end, deliver clean/accurate work, and communicate professionally with customers, HOAs, and property managers. This is a hands-on field role with real autonomy. You'll be trusted to diagnose problems correctly, execute repairs efficiently, and document work clearly. You'll also have the opportunity to expand into water treatment installs and service —we will train the right candidate (prior water treatment experience not required).
Key Responsibilities:
Drive a company vehicle to customer sites to troubleshoot, repair, and replace pool/spa equipment including pumps, motors, heaters, filters, automation/controllers, chemical feeders, blowers, valves, and plumbing components . Test and maintain proper water chemistry; add chemicals as needed and ensure water quality meets safety standards. Diagnose and resolve leaks, flow issues, air leaks, equipment failures, and intermittent/recurring problems (root-cause focus). Provide clear recommendations on preventative maintenance and risk reduction for residential and commercial clients.
Complete accurate documentation:
work performed, parts used, photos when needed, and follow-up steps.
Own follow-through:
coordinate parts, schedule return visits when needed, and communicate status proactively. Support team performance by sharing best practices and helping standardize quality. Help train junior technicians. Water Treatment (We Train) Assist with installation, service, and maintenance of whole-home water treatment systems (softeners, filtration, RO, etc.).; prior experience is a plus but not required . Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. CPO certification (Required). 4+ years experience as a pool/spa technician (commercial experience strongly preferred). Strong working knowledge of pool/spa systems, hydraulics, equipment-room troubleshooting, and safe chemical handling. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required for company vehicle use Excellent customer service and ability to interact professionally with homeowners, HOAs, and property managers.
