Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventive maintenance of the hotel's facilities. Your work will play a crucial role in maintaining guest satisfaction, safety standards, and the overall smooth operation of the property.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine preventive maintenance throughout guest rooms, public spaces, and service areas. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues efficiently Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other mechanical systems Conduct inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with building codes Assist with general upkeep, including landscaping, parking areas, and pool maintenance Maintain an organized, well-stocked maintenance shop Support renovation projects and major repair work as needed Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations Deliver friendly, professional service to guests and team members
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications preferred Previous maintenance or technician experience in a hotel or similar setting is preferred Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and safety protocols Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a team Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods
