This is a broad, hands-on maintenance role responsible for keeping the building, utilities, production equipment, plating systems, and supporting infrastructure operating reliably. The ideal candidate is someone who does more than respond to assigned work orders. A significant part of this position also involves fabrication and building custom equipment . The technician may design and build fixtures, carts, racks, guarding, benches, workholding devices, and one-off equipment required by production. Core ResponsibilitiesBuilding and Facility Maintenance Maintain and repair building systems. Troubleshoot electrical systems. Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance. Perform general building repair and upkeep. Identify facility problems before they result in downtime. Plating and Electroforming Support Maintain and support electroforming and plating equipment.

Responsibilities may include:

Support CNC machine maintenance involving:

Troubleshoot equipment systematically. Identify root causes rather than only treating symptoms. Repair problems independently when they fall within the technician's capabilities. Vendor Coordination Coordinate outside contractors when work exceeds internal capabilities. Communicate scope and requirements to vendors. Track contractor progress. Ensure contractors meet agreed schedules. Support outside technicians while they are working in the facility. Spare Parts and Materials Maintain critical spare parts. Payment structure:
