In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our hotel facilities. Your proactive approach and technical skills will ensure a comfortable and seamless experience for our guests and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance knowledge in a vibrant hospitality environment. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and building infrastructure to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural issues promptly to minimize downtime. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track work orders and maintenance history. Conduct residential painting, welding, and other carpentry tasks to uphold the hotel's aesthetic standards. Oversee facilities maintenance projects, including supervising external contractors when necessary. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities using tools such as ohmmeters and schematics for diagnostics. Lead safety initiatives by adhering to protocols related to electrical work, welding, and other potentially hazardous tasks while supervising team members. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality or manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience and familiarity with schematics. Skilled in welding, residential painting, and general carpentry tasks. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable. Supervising experience in a maintenance or facilities setting is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and team coordination.
