Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance/HVAC Mechanic to support Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management across a dynamic commercial real estate portfolio. In this on-site role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and related building systems, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and optimize comfort and efficiency using BAS. You'll respond to tenant requests, support capital projects, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and building systems in a commercial real estate environment Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize boilers, chillers, pumps, air handlers, VAVs, and controls Monitor and adjust BAS/EMS for comfort, efficiency, and reliability Respond to work orders, emergencies, and tenant comfort calls in a timely, customer-focused manner Inspect equipment, document findings, and maintain accurate maintenance logs and work order records Support capital projects, equipment replacements, and system upgrades with the Engineering team Follow safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, including EPA and OSHA requirements Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services Identify energy-saving and reliability-improvement opportunities and recommend solutions Collaborate with JLL engineering, maintenance, and asset management teams to support asset performance goals Required Skills HVAC system troubleshooting Commercial building maintenance Boilers and chillers operation Building automation systems (BAS) Electrical and mechanical repair Refrigeration systems EPA 608 refrigerant handling Reading blueprints and schematics CMMS/work order systems Safety and regulatory compliance
