In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on kitchen equipment, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal functionality. Diagnose and repair appliance issues, including refrigeration units, ovens, dishwashers, and other essential kitchen appliances. Read schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively. Conduct HVAC system repairs, including air conditioning units and ventilation systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Install new appliances and mechanical systems while adhering to safety protocols and manufacturer specifications. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system inspections for accountability and future reference. Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site repairs or parts procurement while following all safety guidelines. Experience Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on appliance repair, or mechanical systems repair within a restaurant or commercial environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance installation and equipment maintenance. Familiarity with schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and HVAC & appliance technology is highly desirable. Experience working with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) supplies and tools in a fast-paced setting. Construction experience or background in building maintenance is a plus. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team to resolve issues efficiently. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various environments.
