Responsibilities include custodial services, routine maintenance, event support, and facility inspections. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and works well independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, showers, offices, and public areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility. Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners. Restock restroom and facility supplies as needed. Clean windows, glass surfaces, railings, doors, and other high-touch areas. Maintain cleanliness of arena seating areas, concourses, entrances, and common spaces. Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, and equipment. Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns. Complete minor repairs and general maintenance tasks as assigned. Report equipment malfunctions, building issues, and safety hazards promptly. Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely according to established procedures. Assist with snow removal, ice control, and exterior grounds maintenance when needed. Follow all facility safety policies and procedures. Requirements Proven experience in custodial, janitorial, or general maintenance work within commercial, recreational, educational, or residential facilities preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation procedures, including floor care such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and stripping. Familiarity with general facilities maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, painting, and routine building upkeep. Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and machinery, including floor buffers, scrubbers, industrial vacuums, and other custodial tools. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service. Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. Ability to inspect facilities for cleanliness, safety concerns, and maintenance issues, and report findings promptly. Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, and working in various indoor and outdoor conditions. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
