Asphalt Maintenance Technician (Sealcoating & Crack Filling)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Asphalt Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role focuses on sealcoating and crack filling for residential, commercial, and municipal properties. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors, operating equipment, and delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform asphalt sealcoating applications using brushes, squeegees, or spray systems Clean and prepare surfaces (blowing, edging, and debris removal) prior to application Identify and repair cracks using hot rubber or cold pour crack filling methods Operate and maintain tools and equipment such as blowers, crack machines, and sealcoat tanks Ensure proper safety procedures are followed on job sites Work efficiently as part of a crew to complete jobs on schedule Communicate professionally with team members and, when needed, customers

Qualifications:

Previous experience in asphalt maintenance, paving, or construction preferred (but willing to train motivated candidates) Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus but not required) Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
