Job Description

Maintenance Tech Needed- Naugatuck, CT (Please note if you are viewing this posting on an external job board, unless specifically stated in the posting, the provided hourly/salary estimates may not be accurate as they are not provided by CKS.) We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery and facility equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Shift Availability:
1st: 7:00am-3:00pm, Monday through Friday (some Saturday's)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on production equipment, mechanical systems, and facility utilities Diagnose issues with motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems Conduct electrical troubleshooting (basic to intermediate), including sensors, switches, and control wiring Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals Perform equipment adjustments, changeovers, and improvements to support production goals Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies Collaborate with production team to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
Qualifications:
3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills; knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical assemblies Ability to perform basic electrical troubleshooting Welding and fabrication experience a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Experience (not required): Experience in plastics, blow molding, injection molding, or similar manufacturing industries Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and automation systems
