About Cornerstone Realty, Inc.: Cornerstone Realty, Inc., is seeking to hire an experienced tradesperson in Waterbury, Connecticut. In this role, the PMT performs day-to-day maintenance for multi-tenant industrial/commercial properties. The position is an in-person, hands-on role, and the ideal candidate will be expected to be proficient in a multitude of building and property maintenance skills and must also be able to use mobile device applications to track completion of assigned work orders. Essential Job Functions and Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular property inspections to proactively identify issues & complete high-quality repairs necessary to maintain properties in a first-class condition.
- Receive and complete all tenant service requests and work orders.
- Use property management software to track the completion of all service requests, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- The job reports to the head of operations and requires daily/weekly communication of progress and updates. Required Skills and Experience
- Two (2) years of experience maintaining either a school, a large commercial building, or multi dwelling residential building.
- A strong command of multiple skilled trades, such as: o Electrical, masonry, plumbing, painting, HVAC, carpentry, roof maintenance, general landscaping.
- Considerable knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to work independently and with others.
- Possess a strong work ethic with a focus on reliability and accountability
- Excellent attention to detail and high-quality work output.
- Ability to proactively communicate both verbally and in writing (email, text).
- Strong multi-tasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effectively adjust to changing priorities and conditions.
- A quick hands-on learner who asks great questions.
- An obsession and commitment to providing first-class tenant service.
