Job Description

Maintenance Technician Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily maintenance, repair, cleanliness, and overall appearance of Harbor Bay CDD amenities and facilities. This position helps ensure a safe, attractive, and well-maintained environment for residents and guests by performing preventative maintenance, responding to work orders, and assisting with facility setup and special projects. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs to clubhouse buildings, pools, parks, sports courts, and common areas. Complete preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs. Inspect amenities daily and identify safety hazards or maintenance needs. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of exterior grounds, walkways, furniture, and recreational areas. Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, tents, and equipment. Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC maintenance as needed. Operate maintenance equipment and tools safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and complete assigned work orders. Ensure compliance with all OSHA, safety, and Harbor Bay CDD policies and procedures. Provide courteous and professional customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and fellow team members. Perform other duties as assigned by the Field Operations Director or General Manager. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of 2 years of general maintenance experience preferred. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record preferred. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency call-outs when required. Physical Requirements Frequently stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, kneel, and lift materials. Work safely in outdoor environments, including heat, humidity, and inclement weather. Operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely. Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
