Maintenance Technician TiteDri Industries Boynton Beach, FL Job Details Full-time $22 - $23 an hour 3 days ago Qualifications Maintaining an organized workspace Full Job Description Purpose of the position Guarantee the availability and reliability of production equipment through the timely and safe execution of corrective and preventive maintenance and predictive support. Main functions Attend to mechanical failures in production lines and auxiliary equipment. Execute assigned preventive maintenance work orders in turn. Carry out inspections (noise, vibrations, leaks, temperatures, clearances). Make adjustments, simple alignments, changes of bearings, belts, seals, etc. Clean glue nozzles, repair glue modules, repair knife holders. Record work performed, spare parts used and times in the current system (Format) Verify safety and hygiene conditions (SQF) before and after each intervention. Communicate recurring technical deviations to the maintenance manager. Support changeovers in production lines when required. Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area (5S) Main responsibilities Response time to failures during your shift. Technical quality of the repairs carried out. Compliance with the preventive maintenance assigned to the shift. Accuracy of maintenance records. Safety in all interventions carried out. Operational availability of the equipment during its shift. Reduction of repetitive failures in intervened equipment. Timely correction of detected unsafe conditions. Required Skills and Competencies. 4.1 Academic background
Desirable:
Industrial mechanical, electromechanical, or equivalent technician.
Courses in:
industrial maintenance, pneumatics, hydraulics.
Experience Required Minimum required:
. 2 years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance
Desirable:
. Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting production equipment . Automated Line Expertise . Experience in continuous manufacturing industry . Experience working autonomously in shifts . Expertise in industrial pneumatic systems . Experience supporting, guiding or training mechanical technicians less experienced . Ability to transfer technical knowledge to the team Technical Competencies . Diagnosis and solution of mechanical failures in industrial equipment. .
Knowledge of mechanical transmission systems:
bearings, belts, pulleys, chains, shafts. .
Knowledge of pneumatic systems:
cylinders, valves, pressure regulators, interpretation of pneumatic diagrams. .
Ability to perform:
basic alignment of components, change of bearings, mechanical adjustments, assembly and disassembly of equipment. .
Correct use of mechanical tools:
caliper, micrometer, torque wrenches, Extractors. . Ability to identify abnormal conditions by: noise, vibration, temperature, leakage. .
Basic knowledge of industrial lubrication:
types of lubricants, lubrication frequency, application methods. . Basic reading ability of mechanical drawings. Operational Competencies . Ability to respond quickly to failures. . Ability to work under pressure . Ability to prioritize tasks based on team criticality . Ability to work autonomously during your shift .
