Job Description
Company Overview We are a vibrant, family-owned waterfront restaurant and bar known for serving high-end, fine food in a relaxed, semi-casual setting. Compensation & Schedule
- Pay range: $30.00 to $45.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
- Overtime opportunities available.
- Monthly vehicle reimbursement provided.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.- After-hours, weekend, and emergency response may be required.
- Minimum 5 years of commercial facilities maintenance experience required.
- 10+ years of commercial restaurant, hospitality, food service, or commercial facilities maintenance experience strongly preferred.
- Experience servicing commercial natural gas fryers, stoves, ovens, and grills.
- Strong plumbing and electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Basic construction techniques like tile, acoustical ceiling, drywall, paint, trim, etc.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, solve complex problems, and delegate simple tasks. Preferred Experience
- HVAC troubleshooting and repair; commercial refrigeration systems; walk-in cooler and freezer maintenance.
- Preventive maintenance programs.
- Kitchen exhaust systems.
- Framing and light construction projects.
- Drywall installation, finishing, and repair.
- Interior and exterior painting.
- Facility improvement projects; flooring repairs; doors, hardware, and finish carpentry.
- Commercial building systems maintenance; project planning and execution. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the overall condition, appearance, functionality, and safety of the restaurant facility.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial restaurant and bar equipment and facility systems.
- Service commercial natural gas cooking equipment.
- Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, framing, and general building repairs.
- Perform facility maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects throughout the property.
- Maintain all restaurant facilities, including dining rooms, kitchens, bars, restrooms, storage areas, exterior spaces, mechanical systems, and back-of-house operations.
- Identify, recommend, and execute facility improvement projects that enhance operational efficiency, appearance, and guest experience.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, maintain records, coordinate vendors, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Required Skills

- Commitment to quality workmanship and safety. Transportation & Vehicle Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and live within a reasonable driving distance of the restaurant.
- Responsible for obtaining parts and materials from local vendors as needed, including drywall, plywood, lumber, plumbing supplies, electrical supplies, and replacement equipment parts.
- Monthly vehicle reimbursement provided. Physical Demands
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull tools, equipment, parts, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Regular bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing ladders, working indoors and outdoors, and responding to emergency maintenance situations. Benefits
