To perform basic repairs independently and assist superiors with major repairs. PM Shift (3pm-11pm) Responsibilities
  • Practice, maintain and promote Sheraton Brand standards.
  • Follow maintenance schedule as instructed by supervisor.
  • Receive and follow directions from supervisor and Chief Engineer as to next project.
  • Perform routine building maintenance and repairs on equipment and facility that may include carpentry, electrical, mechanical, painting, plastering, plumbing, etc. as directed.
  • Follow established safety precautions and procedures at all times.
  • Report any breakdowns or malfunctions to supervisor/Chief Engineer.
  • Report any hazardous or unsafe conditions or defective equipment to Director/Lead Engineer.
  • Notify Director/Lead Engineer of needs for repairs to: heating, lighting, and ventilating equipment.
  • Replace air-conditioner filters and light bulbs as necessary.
  • Service cooling and heating units as instructed.
  • Perform repairs on air-conditioners, boilers and/or furnace to provide air, heat and hot water for all areas of hotel.
  • Attend and participate in required Daily Standup meetings and training sessions.
  • Perform basic carpentry and plumbing as assigned.
  • Respond to radio in a professional manner, responding to all service requests.
  • Keep tools clean and store in proper location when finished.
  • Gain new knowledge and learn maintenance functions by assisting, observing and working with others.
  • CPO License, certification preferred.
  • 2 yrs. Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Ensure maintenance work orders are completed and record materials used.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in a professional and timely manner.
  • Inform PBX operator once a repair/work order has been completed. Physical Requirements
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. waist high.
  • Able to push and/or pull 100 lbs.
  • Able to work out-of-doors in all weather.
  • Able to bend and stoop frequently.
  • Able to work from ladders.
  • Continuous standing and/or walking

$17.00 - $23.00 per hour
