Overnight Floor technician in Deerfield Beach Positions Inc - 2.5 Deerfield Beach, FL Job Details Full-time $16 - $17 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Moving Industrial cleaners High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Full Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Floor Tech to join our team. The Floor Tech will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of floors in various settings, including offices, and other commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain floors using appropriate techniques and equipment Strip, wax, and buff floors as needed Operate floor cleaning machines, such as buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums Follow safety procedures and guidelines Report any maintenance or repair needs to supervisor Assist with other cleaning tasks as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in floor care or related field Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Physical Demands:
The Floor Tech will be required to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time. They will also be required to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
Work Environment:
The Floor Tech will work in various settings, including offices, and other commercial buildings. They may be exposed to cleaning chemicals and other hazards, and will be required to follow safety procedures and guidelines.
