Sunday-Wednesday (6pm-4:30am) Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Care Technician to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various flooring surfaces within commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental services, custodial work, and floor care techniques, ensuring that all areas are not only clean but also safe for our clients and their customers. Responsibilities Perform routine floor care tasks including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing various types of flooring. Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate methods and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Maintain cleanliness in all assigned areas through effective commercial cleaning practices. Inspect floors regularly to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards. Utilize proper cleaning techniques and equipment to ensure optimal results while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain a high level of service quality. Document completed work and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor. Experience Previous experience in environmental services or custodial roles is preferred. Proficiency in floor care techniques including buffing, carpet cleaning, and general maintenance of various flooring types. (REQUIRED) Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards and practices. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
