Prime Group is looking for a Maintenance Technician to help keep our upscale apartment community running smoothly, safely, and looking its best. Job Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance duties and repairs in an upscale apartment community, ensuring timely turnaround time for leasing units. The Maintenance Technician will work with the Business Manager, coordinating and managing all necessary project resources from start to finish, on time and within budget, in a highly collaborative environment. What You'll Do Including but not limited to: Perform essential maintenance duties including, but not limited to, painting, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs Perform daily grounds keeping, pressure cleaning, and cleaning and organizing apartment units when needed Efficiently complete resident service tickets Use good communication, written, computer, and people skills that represent the integrity and philosophy of the Company What You Bring High school graduate or equivalent At least 1 year of experience in maintenance HVAC certification is required Ability to work in a team environment with a strong work ethic Must be available to perform on-call emergency services when needed Proven ability to independently manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines Working knowledge of HVAC systems, electricity, and plumbing while administering good construction safety practices Ability to remain focused, efficient, and effective in managing multiple priorities Strong interpersonal skills Proficient with personal computers Valid driver's license and dependable transportation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and management Must be legally eligible for employment in the U.S. Pre-employment drug screening and background check required Why You'll Love It Here Competitive salary commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off Collaborative and team-oriented work environment Opportunities for professional development and career advancement within a growing organization About Prime Group Prime Group's vertically integrated approach unifies multiple real estate disciplines under a single roof, sharing a multifaceted vision of improved, sustainable real estate development through diverse strengths, strategic affiliates, and talented in-house professionals.
