Floridian Signs & Plastics, LLC 218 Jupiter Street, Jupiter, FL 33458 $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience Full-time or part-time | On-site | Monday-Friday Enjoy taking a project from customer idea to finished product? Floridian Signs & Plastics is a family-owned custom sign and plastics shop serving South Florida since 1991. We're looking for an experienced, dependable person who combines strong design skills with hands-on sign production and friendly customer service. You'll work on varied projects, have independence in your day-to-day work, and have opportunities to learn additional fabrication skills. Full-time employment is available immediately for someone ready to handle the role independently. We will also consider part-time applicants, with a long-term goal of full-time employment. Shop hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; part-time schedules will be discussed. What you'll do Answer emails and phone calls, assist walk-in customers, and keep customers informed about their orders. Create and revise customer proofs using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Obtain proof approval, send invoices through QuickBooks, and confirm payment before production. Prepare files in VersaWorks and operate our Roland True

wide-format printer/cutter. Produce cut vinyl and printed graphics, including weeding, masking, laminating, and applying graphics to substrates. Operate a Royal Sovereign 54-inch cold laminator. Measure and cut job materials, and sand and polish acrylic products. Check finished work, then pack and ship online and Etsy orders. Assist with occasional light installations. Use AI tools effectively for customer email drafts, artwork assistance, and troubleshooting, while checking the quality and accuracy of the results. What you'll bring At least 3 years of relevant sign shop, vinyl graphics, or wide-format print production experience. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, including preparation of production-ready artwork. Hands-on experience producing and applying vinyl graphics. Confidence using AI tools as part of your workflow. Professional communication, accurate measuring, attention to detail, and dependable follow-through. Ability to organize multiple jobs and work independently. Familiarity with QuickBooks and VersaWorks is preferred. This role includes physical shop work and occasional handling of materials weighing approximately 50-100 pounds, using appropriate assistance or handling equipment for heavier items. What we offer $20-$25 per hour, based on experience. A weekday schedule in a family-owned business. Varied projects and opportunities to learn fabrication skills. Independence and responsibility for your work. Paid Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day for full-time employees, with no waiting period.
