Facilities / Operations This is a 1099 contract Position Summary Laser Photonics Corporation is looking for a dependable, hands-on General Maintenance Technician to assist with the day-to-day maintenance, organization, and upkeep of our facility. This position will perform a variety of general maintenance, office, facility, and light assembly tasks. Responsibilities Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, and other basic facility items. Hang signs, pictures, whiteboards, shelves, and other office items. Move furniture, equipment, boxes, and other items as needed. Assist with office and facility setup, organization, and rearrangement. Perform basic repairs and general maintenance throughout the building. Assemble furniture, equipment, fixtures, and other items. Assist with light mechanical assembly and other hands-on projects. Keep work areas, storage areas, and common areas organized and maintained. Identify maintenance issues and report larger repairs or safety concerns to management. Assist with moving and organizing materials, supplies, and equipment. Perform other general maintenance and facility-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in general maintenance, facilities, construction, assembly, or a similar hands-on position preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand and power tools. Ability to safely use ladders and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, lifting, and moving materials. Ability to lift and move items as needed. Dependable, organized, and able to work independently. Good attention to detail and a willingness to help wherever needed. Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices. Preferred Skills Experience with light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or general building maintenance. Experience assembling mechanical or industrial equipment is a plus. Ability to read basic assembly instructions, drawings, or diagrams is a plus. Work Environment This is a hands-on position working throughout the company's office, facility, warehouse, and assembly areas. The individual should be comfortable performing a variety of tasks and working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change.
Pay:
$24.71 - $29.75 per hour
