A Building and General Maintenance Technician performs building maintenance and appliance repairs for an apartment complex, housing division, residential center or business, as directed by a property manager.

We are hiring a motivated, dependable handyman/maintenance technician to join our team. You do NOT need to be an expert at everything but must have general knowledge. We are looking for someone with basic handyman knowledge who is willing to learn, work hard, and get the job done.
PAY Starting pay:
$130 per day Pay is based on experience, skill level, reliability, quality of work, and performance. Raises may be available as your skills and responsibilities increase. W-2 payroll position — Paid every Friday THE JOB We repair and maintain tenant-occupied rental properties throughout Central Florida.
Typical work includes:
Drywall repairs & texture matching Painting Minor plumbing repairs Trim & baseboards Hanging and repairing doors Tile repairs and installation Screen repairs Installing LVP flooring Basic carpentry Landscape work & trimming General handyman repairs Other small property maintenance tasks
WHAT A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE A
lot of our work orders are small repairs that take 1-2 hours. You will complete the job, get back in the work van, and drive to the next property. Some jobs may take most or all of the day. This is primarily repair and maintenance work — NOT large remodeling projects. You must be able to work efficiently, complete your assigned work, and move on to the next job.
COMPANY WORK VAN
Our shop is located in Lakeland, FL 33803, near Polk State College. After you are trained, you will be assigned your own company work van. You will drive to properties, complete the assigned work, and move on to the next work order. Most of our work is throughout Central Florida, including: Lakeland Tampa Orlando Riverview Brandon Wesley Chapel Other surrounding areas You must be comfortable driving up to approximately 2 hours away from Lakeland and dealing with traffic on the way back. The company work van comes back to the Lakeland shop every day.
