Posting Job Summary:
Performs daily cleaning procedures in patient rooms and other ancillary areas in the hospital including nursing stations, restrooms, offices, etc. Cleans and refinishes hard surface floors, shampoos and extracts carpet floor surfaces utilizing a variety of electrical and other tools, chemicals and finishes. Completes daily cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and uses prescribed floor care methods. Maintains work areas, equipment, and supplies in a clean, safe and orderly manner. May be responsible for collecting and transporting trash or soiled linen to the appropriate storage area and maintaining furniture in patient rooms, offices, and other ancillary areas in an orderly fashion. May be responsible for completing other responsibilities as assigned.
What you will need:
Prior floor tech, housekeeping experience required. Must demonstrate the ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write the English language. Ability to maintain frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, pushing or pulling and to lift at least 25 pounds.
