The ideal candidate will perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to keep guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces safe, functional, and in excellent condition. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong guest-service awareness, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The property is located on Indian Creek Drive in Miami Beach. Candidates should have experience with hotel, residential, or commercial maintenance including minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC/PTAC, painting, and carpentry repairs. Duties Respond promptly and courteously to guest room maintenance requests, minimizing disruption to guests. Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, corridors, pool and common areas, and mechanical equipment to identify maintenance needs. Perform general repairs including minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC/PTAC servicing and filter changes, painting, drywall patching, and carpentry. Maintain and troubleshoot guest room fixtures: door locks, TVs, lighting, toilets, showers, and A/C units. Support preventive maintenance schedules for guest rooms and building systems, keeping accurate logs. Assist with pool area, exterior, and common-area upkeep; address corrosion and wear from the coastal environment. Coordinate with and supervise outside contractors as needed. Execute touch-up and full painting tasks to maintain the property's aesthetic standards. Follow all safety, fire, and life-safety procedures, and report hazards immediately. Experience & Requirements Proven experience in hotel, residential, or commercial facilities maintenance. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC/PTAC, paint, and carpentry repairs. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Availability for a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and on-call/emergency response. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand or walk for extended periods. Strong attention to detail, professional appearance, and commitment to quality workmanship. Pay:
