MAINTAINENCE TECHNICIAN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR SKILLED MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN!

South Florida-based management company is looking for a skilled, dedicated, highly motivated, task-orientated Maintenance Technician for apartment community in Miami, FL. Applicants must have excellent communication skills and ability to multitask and function in a high-energy environment. Other requirements include : Valid Driver's license HS Diploma EPA 608 Cert. Electrical Proficiency Plumbing Proficiency Moderate construction Skills Unit Rehab, subfloors, cabinet installs. Drywall repairs/replacements. Extensive HVAC knowledge Small appliance repair Proficiency (stoves, microwaves, W&D, freezer etc.) Welding / Brazing skills Pass criminal background check and drug screening Available to work weekends if necessary and on-call schedule Scope of work: Making units rent ready after move outs. Painting and repairs Unit clean-up Evaporator coil and condensing unit replacements HVAC repairs and diagnostics General site and building maintenance (pressure washing, curb appeal, etc.) Pool maintenance All aspects of electrical and plumbing Maintaining maintenance schedule Implementing maintenance strategies Assist with planning and execution of assigned projects Additional items: Basic Grounds upkeep (curb appeal), preventative maintenance practices, preventative maintenance schedules, IAQ initiatives, vendor/contractor oversight and other associated tasks. Applicant must be customer service orientated with a drive for excellence. Schedule would consist of a 40hr work week from M-F 8:30 -5:30. Must be available for emergencies.
