This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure a safe, functional, and high-quality environment for players, guests, and staff. This position plays a key role in preventative maintenance, emergency response, and day-to-day facility operations. Responsibilities Respond to building maintenance and repair requests in a timely and safe manner Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, tools, and equipment Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and related mechanical equipment Perform general plumbing repairs including pumps, water heaters, drains, and piping Conduct basic electrical repairs including switches, outlets, lighting, and related components Support general building repairs and facility upkeep Complete building rounds and scheduled preventative maintenance tasks Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and request parts as needed Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and all safety protocols Document maintenance activities and communicate updates across shifts Assist with emergency maintenance needs as required Perform additional facility-related duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Vocational or technical training preferred 5+ years of general facilities maintenance experience preferred Universal EPA certification required Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems Ability to safely operate hand and power tools Basic computer proficiency Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and assist with heavier loads Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays The Miami Marlins offer a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits.
