Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window and Door Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows and doors across various residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets quality standards, safety protocols, and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize your craftsmanship skills, and contribute to creating beautiful, functional spaces. Responsibilities Measure openings accurately using dimensional measurements to ensure proper fit of windows and doors Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide installations Handle glass materials safely during transportation, cutting, and installation processes Install windows and doors following manufacturer instructions, construction plans, and safety standards Use hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly, fabrication, trimming, caulking, and fixture installation Perform heavy lifting as needed to position large window units or door assemblies securely in place Conduct quality control checks on measurements, alignment, sealing, and finishing details to guarantee durability and aesthetics Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, carpentry, or remodeling projects involving window and door installation Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, measuring tapes, and caulking guns; familiarity with power tools is essential Knowledge of glass materials handling, glass installation techniques, and metal stud framing is highly desirable Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for precise installation procedures Strong construction site experience with a focus on drywall finishing, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and heavy lifting tasks Familiarity with fabrication processes related to window and door components is a plus Excellent attention to detail for measurement accuracy (quality control) and adherence to safety protocols Valid experience in handyman tasks or general construction enhances your versatility on the job site Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your skills to impactful building projects!
