Job Description

Westminster Manor is seeking to fill a full-time General Maintenance position at its location in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This position is responsible for exterior and interior physical conditions of building and facility grounds. This position will be responsible for remodeling vacated apartments and also assist the Director of Maintenance with other day-to-day maintenance and repairs.
Essential Job Functions:
Completion of housekeeping duties, repairs, and special work orders. Principally responsible for the redecoration of vacated apartments and restore them to a as much "like-new" appearance and condition as quickly as possible for re-rental. To be on the alert for hazards and potential maintenance problems and report them immediately to management if it is not immediately correctable. To assist Director with completion of work orders and with the maintenance of buildings and grounds in a very clean and neat appearance and top functioning condition. To assist the housekeeper/janitor whenever necessary to maintain the facility in the best appearance possible. Completion of housekeeping duties, repairs, and special work orders. Qualifications:
A high school diploma and minimum three years extensive experience with building repairs and maintenance including painting.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six to twelve months related experience and/or training.
