Our hands-on approach ensures every property receives strategic care and attention. Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of our residential communities by performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep. Your expertise will ensure our residents enjoy comfortable, well-maintained living environments while supporting the overall operational excellence of our properties. Duties Perform routine inspections and repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct facilities maintenance including painting, drywall repair, carpentry, and general handyman tasks. Maintain electrical equipment and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support building systems. Repair and replace plumbing fixtures and systems while adhering to safety standards. Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage inventory of parts and tools. Supervise or assist with projects involving welding, electrical work, or HVAC system upgrades as needed. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance and repair. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams for electrical and mechanical systems. Hands-on experience with electrical equipment repair and troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters. Knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repair techniques. Experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) procedures within residential or manufacturing settings. Ability to operate welding equipment safely and effectively. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC systems, and electrical systems repair. EPA and CPO certified a plus Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate clearly in English. Supervising experience is a plus for team coordination or project oversight roles. Leadership qualities that foster teamwork and efficient problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
