The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with residential garage doors, garage door openers, troubleshooting, repairs, and warranty service. As a Warranty Technician, you will be responsible for responding to warranty service calls, diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and ensuring customers receive a high level of service. This is a field-based position where each day will be different, and technicians will travel throughout our service areas.
Garage Door Technician Duties & Responsibilities:
Required:
Previous professional garage door technician experience. Strong knowledge of residential garage doors and garage door openers. Experience troubleshooting and repairing garage door systems. Experience with warranty/service calls strongly preferred. Ability to accurately diagnose mechanical and operational issues. Ability to safely use hand and power tools. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage a daily service schedule. Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver garage door components and equipment. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and at different job sites. Document operational activities Collect payments for good or servicesGarage Door Technician Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalently Physically able to move items weighing 50-75 pounds Able to bend, climb, reach, kneel, etc., for extended periods. At least one year of professional garage door experience Valid driver's license Reliable and self-motivated Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice' 'Work Remotely No Job Type:
