Stuart, FL Job Details Full-time $20 - $30 an hour 2 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Qualifications Interpersonal skills Forklift Hydraulics Flexibility Time management Full Job Description Maintenance Technician We are looking for an experienced and qualified person to join our maintenance department at the Jupiter, FL Location. The ideal candidate will demonstrate mechanical aptitude, proficiency in electrical and electronic troubleshooting, and experience coordinating technical support.
Responsibilities:
  • Work in compliance with the OHSA and the regulations, use or wear PPE in accordance to the Act or company policy; report to the supervisor any absence or defect in any equipment or protective device of which the worker is aware and which may endanger themselves or another worker; and report to the supervisor any contravention of the Act.
  • Follow lock out procedures to ensure safety of self and others.
  • Operate with a continuous sense of importance in a fast paced working environment.
  • Troubleshoot and perform hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical repairs to equipment and machinery.
  • Repair small engines.
  • Work with Maintenance Team to Schedule and Complete work orders in a timely manner.
  • Inform shift supervisor of any electrical, mechanical, infrastructure failures/interruptions.
  • Improve machine uptime and prevent machine break downs through implementation of P.M.'s and problem solving.
  • Keep inventory of machine spare parts and requisition when needed.
  • Keep record of all spare parts used, and time spent on each repair.
  • Monitor and maintain water treatment system.
  • Maintain and repair building and services for the facility.
  • MIG weld as required.
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance for each machine and piece of equipment as per their schedule
  • Perform other duties as required
Skills & Experience:
  • Practical knowledge and experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Experience in welding
  • Experience in general infrastructure improvements.
  • Forklift license or ability to achieve forklift license
  • Strong troubleshooting ability
  • Dependable and communicative team player
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively multi-task
  • Forward thinking mindset
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize under pressure
  • An established attendance and safety record
