We're looking for a dependable, hands-on team member who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and helping maintain a safe, clean, and efficient store environment. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in keeping store equipment, fixtures, and facilities operating at their best. Employee discount 401(k) Plan with company match Paid training and development Opportunities to grow within the company Team-oriented environment built on appreciation and respect Medical benefits and Paid Time Off Competitive pay What You'll Do Perform preventative maintenance on store equipment and fixtures Conduct scheduled cleaning and maintenance of refrigerated cases, cooking equipment, lobster tanks, and other store equipment Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on plumbing fixtures, drains, and restroom equipment Replace light bulbs and maintain lighting fixtures throughout the store Clean and maintain HVAC grilles, ductwork, and store fans Inspect and maintain shopping carts and utility carts, including pressure washing, wheel replacement, and battery replacement when needed Support floor care operations, including floor scrubbers and floor buffers Inspect rooftops, roof drains, condensate lines, and rooftop equipment to ensure proper operation and cleanliness Complete store work orders and maintenance tasks in a timely manner Coordinate with Store Leadership and the Corporate Facilities Maintenance Team on repairs, projects, and maintenance priorities Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for customers, associates, and vendors Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of tools, chemicals, signage, and protective equipment Assist with other maintenance projects and operational needs as assigned What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and repair techniques Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to prioritize multiple projects and maintenance requests Attention to detail and commitment to quality work Strong communication skills and ability to work with store leadership and support teams Customer-first mindset with a focus on safety and store appearance Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, or handyman experience preferred, but not required Work Environment This is a hands-on role that requires working throughout the store, backroom, rooftop, parking lot, and exterior areas. You'll frequently walk, bend, climb ladders, lift equipment and supplies, and perform maintenance tasks in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions. The position may require occasional travel to other store locations and flexibility to support special projects, emergencies, and operational needs.
