Join our growing Maintenance Team as a full-time Maintenance Technician at Richman Property Services, Inc. in Tampa, FL! ️
Position:
Maintenance Technician Location:
Meridian Pointe Apartments , located in
Tampa, FL Hours:
M-F 8:00am-5:00pm, with on-call weekend rotation. 40 hours per week, weekend rotation required. ✅
Key Qualifications:
EPA I & II or EPA Universal. If you do not have your EPA but possess the right skills and experience, RPS may sponsor (and pay) for your
EPA I & II
within your first 75 days on the job. Valid Driver's License is required for this position Minimum of 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience, new construction experience preferred Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required

Responsibilities:
Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines Manage service requests and ensure timely completion Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development Assist in property preventative maintenance plan Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime
Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc. Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Skills & Certifications:
EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred Valid Driver's License required Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
