Job Description
The Pool & Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring optimal safety, cleanliness and operational efficiency of the pool area and provides preventive maintenance, repair services and upkeep of Association buildings, equipment and common area assets.
- Perform daily/weekly cleaning of swimming pool, spa, and related pool areas by skimming, vacuuming, clean filters and brushing walls and steps
- Test and balance pool water chemistry, including chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and other required levels.
- Add pool chemicals safely and accurately according to company procedures and safety guidelines. Identify and order pool chemicals as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of pool inspections, chemical readings, maintenance performed, and supplies used.
- Experience with general facilities maintenance tasks, including minor plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, pressure washing, and work order requests assigned by manager.
- Able to complete CPO certification successfully (required) once hired
- Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather for extended periods in hot and humid conditions.
- Reliable attendance and dependability.
- Excellent problem-solving skills & ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- The schedule may include weekdays, weekends, holidays, and call-outs as required.
