Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pool Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of swimming pools and related equipment. Your expertise will ensure that pool environments are inviting, hygienic, and compliant with safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical skills and passion for maintenance in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. Early hours allow you to have a full afternoon and evening. 7am or 8am start to 3pm or 4pm ending days. You are on the move and talking with customers - an active career vs. sitting in front of a computer all day. Responsibilities Perform routine pool maintenance including water testing, chemical balancing, and filtration system checks to ensure optimal water quality. Conduct thorough pool cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming pools, and cleaning filters to maintain a pristine appearance. Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform repairs or coordinate repairs with appropriate service providers. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for equipment repairs and maintenance tasks. Maintain detailed records of service visits, chemical treatments, repairs performed, and equipment status. Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or hazards. Qualifications •

This is more important than previous experience •Prior experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance is highly preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely for repair work. Strong understanding of pool cleaning techniques, chemical balancing, and water chemistry. Ability to work independently with attention to detail while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Valid driver's license preferred; ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Pay:
$18.00 - $27.00 per hour
